In a release earlier this month, Microsoft stated they plan to unveil "the next generation" of Windows during a virtual event on Thursday, June 24th. When Microsoft released Windows 10 in 2015, they stated it would be the last version of Windows to exist, thus sparking the interest of many. While Microsoft didn't make it clear what exactly will be revealed, The Verge shared leaked images of the supposed new verision, Windows 11. According to the article, this new version will feature a new Start Menu, home screen, new sounds and an aesthetic in line with Mac.
The event will be held online at 11 a.m. ET. CEO, Satya Nadella will be there, along with Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer, who has been the face of the company’s Surface devices. We will cetainly be tuning in to find out what is next for Windows!
